Education more than just a transmission of knowledge and skills; education is about preparing our children to live a great life. Students at Agora Madrid International School are guided on their educational journey by our excellent teaching and school management teams, developing the skills and understanding that they need to reach their full academic and personal potential until they are ready to step out confidently into the wider world.
This preliminary phase of our child’s educational journey lays down the foundation upon which their educational future is built and is therefore of fundamental importance in establishing formative processes. Through stimulation and communication, we help children to develop self-esteem, manage their emotions and focus on encouraging children to be curious and excited about learning. We aim to help each child discover and develop their natural skills and abilities, grow in maturity and learn how to interact happily with other children. Each child is unique and exceptional and the warmth and experience of our teachers and teaching assistants helps each individual to progress at their own pace.

Find out moreTo facilitate a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary our Year 6 students already form part of the Secondary school family. Thus, in Year 6 pupils work on an age-appropriate curriculum but delivered by secondary teachers who begin to employ the methodologies and assessment systems that pupils will encounter at secondary level. Academic expectations become a little higher and we begin to help the children to think more critically and analytically and to express themselves in a more mature way. We assess each student individually to ensure that we can construct the most appropriate learning pathways for their particular personal and academic needs.
